Helium HeSupplier & Manufacturer in India

Inert helium for leak detection, lifting and cryogenics.

Formula: HePurity: 99.99%+Appearance: Colourless, odourless, inert
He

Inert, lightweight helium for leak detection, controlled atmospheres, balloon inflation and cryogenic cooling — supplied in high-pressure cylinders.

Helium (He) is an inert, non-flammable noble gas with the lowest boiling point of any element. Its small molecule makes it the gas of choice for sensitive helium leak detection of vessels, heat exchangers and vacuum systems, while its low density is used for lifting and lighter-than-air applications.

Helium is also used in shielding-gas blends for high-speed welding, as a cooling medium in cryogenics (including MRI superconducting magnets), and as a carrier and purge gas in laboratories and electronics. IIGAS supplies helium in high-pressure cylinders and banks.

Frequently asked questions

Helium is used for leak detection, cryogenic cooling (including MRI magnets), shielding-gas blends for high-speed welding, controlled atmospheres, and balloon/lighter-than-air inflation.
Helium’s very small, inert molecule passes through the tiniest leaks and is easily detected by mass-spectrometer leak detectors, making it the standard tracer gas.
High-purity helium at 99.99% and above.
Helium is inert, non-flammable and non-toxic, but can displace oxygen in confined spaces, so ventilation is required.
High-pressure cylinders and cylinder banks.
Yes — helium and argon-helium blends increase heat input for high-speed welding of thick or highly conductive metals.
Liquid helium has the lowest boiling point of any element (−269 °C), making it essential for superconducting magnets and ultra-low-temperature research.
Upright and secured in a ventilated area, away from heat, with valve protection in place.
Helium is a finite resource with variable global supply; we recommend planning orders ahead for large or continuous requirements.
