Hydrogen (H₂) is the lightest element, a powerful reducing agent and a clean fuel. Hydrogen is flammable across a wide range (4–75% in air), so correct purity, valves, handling and storage matter. IIGAS supplies hydrogen to Indian Standards and CGA/EIGA practice with documented purity and safety guidance, and contributes to the BIS committees CHD 6 (Industrial Gases) and MED 16 (Gas Cylinders).
