IIGAS supplies acetylene gas plants on a full turnkey basis: process design, fabrication, erection, installation, commissioning and operator training, backed by lifetime spares and service. Because we manufacture the plants and operate them ourselves to fill cylinders, every system is engineered from real production experience — not theory.

Our plants generate acetylene from calcium carbide, purify and dry it, compress it, and fill it into dissolved-acetylene (DA) cylinders charged with acetone or DMF over a porous mass — the safe medium for storing and transporting acetylene. We size each plant to your output, from compact installations to high-capacity industrial facilities.

Acetylene demands uncompromising safety engineering. Our plants are built to NFPA, CGA, EIGA, ASME and Indian Standards, and our team contributes to the Bureau of Indian Standards committees CHD 6 (Industrial Gases) and MED 16 (Gas Cylinders), so our plants are built to the standards those committees set.

Every plant is designed to contain and prevent acetylene decomposition, with correctly specified arrestors, pressure limits and porous-mass DA cylinders engineered to IS 8451 and related codes.

Exported and commissioned worldwide

Beyond acetylene, IIGAS builds air-separation plants, PSA oxygen plants and nitrous-oxide plants, and distributes the chemicals the industrial-gas industry depends on. Our plants are exported and commissioned worldwide, supported by our own engineers, spares and operator training.
